Hey there Posh Viewers! My name is Monique, and I was born & raised in Detroit MI. Ever since I was a young girl, my passion was to make things beautiful. I would stay at home for hours making numerous things such as hats, floral, chocolate and wine arrangements. These items brought much happiness to people on special occasions, and I was able to make them in the comfort of my own home.

As an introverted person, I loved to wear sunglasses whenever I was outside of my home, because it was kind of like a mask for me. However, one would have not known that I was extremely shy as I tended to wear trendy glasses and get admiration wherever I went. This gave me a major confidence boost. The numerous compliments would make me feel that I could accomplish anything. I quickly began to realize how much this one simple accessory was able to make me feel so comfortable while at the same time allow me to express myself without having to say a word. With this, Posh View was born.
